Bid Plugin Documentation

A practical starting point for installing, activating and configuring your bidding marketplace.

1. Install

Upload the Bid Plugin ZIP in WordPress under Plugins → Add Plugin → Upload Plugin, then activate it.

2. Activate License

Open Bid Plugin → License, paste the license key from your Bid Plugin account or purchase email, and activate the site. Single Site supports one active website; Agency supports up to 10.

3. Configure Marketplace

Set service categories, intake fields, marketplace terminology, Google location settings and branding.

4. Choose Monetization

Select free access, subscriptions, credits, fixed fees or a hybrid model and connect the appropriate WooCommerce products.

5. Test Accounts

Create a customer and provider test account, submit a test job with photos, documents or video, and confirm bidding and notification flows.

6. Configure Communication

Choose your messaging, attachment, notification, availability and moderation settings. Set the allowed upload types, maximum files and separate image, document and video size limits before opening the marketplace.

7. Test the Award Workflow

Award a test bid, send a private message and confirm that appointment requests, rescheduling and email alerts work as expected.

8. Launch

Publish your marketplace, onboard providers and start sending real opportunities through the platform.
